The view today
Copy Director & Writer
I am currently the content and copy director for the University of New Hampshire's in-house creative team, where I am a big picture concept developer for the university's biggest marketing campaigns, the lead speechwriter for the UNH president and a hands-on, detail-oriented writer for a range of platforms. I thrive at the intersection of mission and brand, challenging myself and my teammates to forge a voice and story that resonates.
Experience
Every step adds up to the stories we tell.
Content and Copy Director
In-House Agency
Marketing
University of New Hampshire
December 2021-Present
I turn strategic priorities and enrollment goals into storytelling that elevates our brand and builds bridges to our target audiences. I work as the copy lead for a cross-functional, interdisciplinary team of communicators and creators to find the editorial line that brings to life UNH's mission and voice across the university. I am also the lead speechwriter for the UNH President.
I love developing big brand concepts and strategic messaging, as well as working as a hands-on writer to execute detail-oriented copy for email marketing, digital marketing, out-of-home advertising, high-visibility collateral, and more.COPYWRITER AND EDITORIAL WRITER
In-House Agency
Marketing
University of New Hampshire
February 2020-December 2021
.As the lead copy and content writer for undergraduate and graduate student recruitment efforts, I crafted verbal direction for high-visibility university campaigns. Whether I was writing copy for CASE-award winning collateral or developing multi-channel messaging for a digital marketing campaign, my goal was the same: helping students take the next step on their higher-education journey. I wrote for for just about every social media and marketing platform out there, from TikTok ads to landing pages to radio spots. I also helped the UNH Graduate School develop its brand voice and messaging pillars.
As part of our lean (but mighty!) creative team, I regularly contributed stories to our editorial outlets, including faculty, student and alumni profiles for UNH Today and UNH Magazine.

I wrote daily blog posts and web stories, oversaw social media content for the North American digital channels, and collaborated with our digital media partners.
I was also an active member of the creative team for the organization's cause-related marketing campaigns, writing social media copy for the #WatchHungerStop campaign with Michael Kors, as well as a variety of copy for campaigns with Zumba, Stevia, and The Hunger Games.COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT
